KBOO Interview with Dr. Riane Eisler and Jensine Larsen

KBOO Interview with Dr. Riane Eisler, founder and President of the Center for Partnership Studies and Jensine Larsen, founder and CEO of World Pulse. “The Power of Women to Bring Real Change to the World!” September 6, 2013 KBOO / Portland, OR.

In this warm and brilliant exchange, Riane Eisler and Jensine Larsen, long time women advocates, discuss the need for a shift in our social system, and why women are at the core of that coming shift. They reconnect in this interview after ten years and reminisce about how Jensine felt led to reach out to Riane when the vision for World Pulse first came to her – a vision inspired in part by Riane’s published work.

Discover with them why and we must allow women’s voices to be part of the conversation in every nation. Learn what happens in countries where there is gender equity in government. Consider with Riane and Jensine the vision of a more just, equitable and peaceful world and learn how you can help to create that world with them.

Like the documentary, “Miss Representation” this interview can be used as a powerful teaching tool for young women – high school or college age – and in women’s groups and circles. Begin the discussion today: “What do you want to the world to look like in ten years and what do you dream of doing to help create that world?”

Riane Eisler is internationally known for her groundbreaking contributions as a systems scientist and attorney working for the human rights of women and children. She is author of The Chalice and the Blade: Our History, Our Future, a re-reading of our past that places women at the center.
